As our new project the True Love is nearing completion the timing was right to place Peregrine for sale. She sold June of 2017 and I am sure the new owner will enjoy her as much as we did. What a great boat! We put close to 20,000 miles on her keel and never had any doubts whether she could handle what was thrown our way. Many great memories. Thank you for your visits to the site this will be my last post. Check out the progress on the True Love a Spencer 1330 we are restoring at spencer1330.blogspot.com/p/specifications.html
Fair Winds!
Peregrine
1985 Catalina 38 #312, The original boat was designed by Sparkman and Stephens to be built as a one-off racing design. The hull form was then purchased by the Yankee Boat Company. They built approximately 30 Yankee 38's before the business failed. Catalina Yachts purchased the molds from Yankee, and started building the Catalina 38.

Redesigned Blog
February 2012
As you can see I have updated the blog the most noticeable feature being I consolidated the posts under the page tabs. In doing so the ability to post comments for each post has been lost. Located at the bottom of this post is a comment button and I will leave it here as a permanent fixture. In doing this I also realized that I did not have the notification turned on to alert me when a comment was posted and I apologize to those of you that I never answered. Problem now solved.

Coastal Cup 2011
Peregrine took first in her class at this years Coastal Cup. The race ran from San Francisco to Catalina Island and was 360 miles. Winds ranged from 30-40 knots, we went about 50 miles offshore and to sum it up it was Mr. Toad's wild ride. Peregrine was the only boat in our class to finish as the competitors retired after the first day with substantial damage to their spinnaker inventories. She is now in Long Beach and waiting for the start of the Transpac in 11 days!! Aloha
